The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute is proud to receive the 2017 Hispanic Scholarship Fund Community Partner of the Year Award.

The HSF award celebrates and recognizes CHCI for its 40 years of success in educating and empowering talented rising Latino Americans to be leaders in all industries. CHCI cultivates in students a sense of civic duty through outstanding leadership programs in our nation’s capital and communities across America.

The award was accepted by CHCI President and CEO Domenika Lynch at the Leadership in Education Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, California on April 20, 2017.

“CHCI is honored to be recognized as the 2017 Hispanic Scholarship Fund Community Partner of the Year,” said Domenika Lynch. “Now more than ever, CHCI is committed to ensuring that exceptional Latino students have the opportunity to come to Washington D.C. to learn and experience the policy making process, and strengthen their commitment to civic engagement and the democratic process. We believe America is stronger, more diverse and resilient because of the contributions of Latinos. CHCI is proud to partner with HSF, a leader in Latino student achievement and a trailblazer in generating change-makers who will bring about positive change in their communities across the country."

Earlier this year, CHCI and HSF joined in partnership to ensure notable Latino students have the knowledge and resources to obtain scholarships and support services.
