CHCI Hosts Capitol Hill Briefing on Predictive Analytics in Higher Education On June 21st, The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute held an exclusive Capitol Hill Policy Briefing that explored the use of predictive analytics in higher education to increase student success, boost retention rates, and allocate resources efficiently. CHCI Honors Norman Lear with its Inaugural Pioneer Award On Friday, June 2nd, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) awarded its inaugural “Pioneer Award” to television trailblazer Norman Lear at the City Club in downtown Los Angeles recognizing his commitment and contributions to diversity and inclusion in American television. CHCI Welcomes 29 Congressional Summer Interns to Washington, D.C. Earlier this month, CHCI welcomed its 2017 Summer Congressional Internship class. Twenty-nine undergraduate students traveled from 16 states and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to take part in the nationally recognized CHCI Congressional Internship Program (CIP).
